Scouts are for all young people aged 10½ to 14.
The Scout Troop is the oldest in age range of the Group's Sections, catering for young people of ages 10½ through to 14. The Troop is led by Ian and Hazel. The goal of the Troop is to encourage personal development and learning of a broad variety of skills. A Scout that engages with the programme of meetings and events organised by the Troop should achieve Gold Chief Scout's Award.

The Troop meets from 7:45pm every Wednesday during school term, most often at Christ Church rooms. The Troop regularly engages with District and County activities, as well as events organised by the Group. Regularly events run by the Troop include a May weekend camp with a specific focus/goal; a week-long summer camp in August; and a "Scouts Lead" camp in October, where the Scouts get to show off their leadership and organisational skills.
