Cubs are for all young people aged 8 to 10½.

The Cub Pack follows the tradition of the Jungle Book for its leadership, with Akela being the principle leader. Assisting Akela are Baloo, Hathi, Kaa, and Bagheera.

The Cub programme is structured around the many skills and areas of personal development a young person must acquire in order to achieve Silver Chief Scout's Award. As part of their personal development, the Cubs are expected to follow our Code of Conduct:

-
Always be on our best behaviour
-
Respect people and nature
-
Work together as a team
-
Listen to leaders and each other
-
Be a good winner and a good loser
-
Do not give up when something seems difficult
-
Try to stay calm and avoid getting cross
-
Talk to a leader if there are problems
-
In Cubs, we are all friends
-
Have fun!

The Cubs meet every Wednesday during school term, from 6:30 to 7:45pm. They usually meet at Christ Church hall. The Pack also embraces Group, District, and County camps and events.
